Where they come from the jewelry we wear? A very simple question which unfortunately we often forget. The project of Eco-Age starts from this important question to build a new philosophy of fashion, characterized by traceability and sustainability of all those products that we use in our life, day after days, such as jewels or clothes.
Livia Firth, founder of Eco-Age, has a very clear vision; the nice dress that we buy, or the beautiful ring that we wear, have a story made of women and men who work to realize them. The hands of all the people who are at the very beginning of the chain are important and we should know their stories. Knowing that there is a traceability story behind these people makes our clothes or jewellery more interesting and desirable. As you can see in the Eco-Age site, 2017 will be the call to action to “Redress the world” and make sure fashion claims a seat in the global political agenda.
